InsytVex was founded in Seattle in 2021 by Mei-Lin Zhao — a former FP&A lead who spent years watching finance teams spend ten days assembling data and two days actually analyzing it. She decided to fix that ratio.

Mei-Lin spent nine years as a finance analyst and FP&A lead at mid-market software companies in Seattle. In 2021 she co-founded InsytVex after watching the same quarterly data-assembly marathon repeat at three successive employers. Her first question when hiring: "Have you ever had to explain to a CFO why the model was stale?"
Dan Tsai
CTO & Co-Founder
Dan built data pipeline infrastructure at a Seattle-based analytics company for six years before co-founding InsytVex. His background is in real-time data ingestion and financial data modeling — not enterprise BI, which is intentional: InsytVex is not a BI tool.
Anand Vora
Head of Customer Success
Anand spent four years as a Director of FP&A at a 350-person distribution company before joining InsytVex. He leads onboarding and customer outcomes — and is the person who personally guides every new team through their first data connection and scenario model.
